It takes a village to grow good food

Local, sustainably grown food is by far the healthiest option for our bodies and our ecosystem. Unfortunately, our current food system is not set up this way. We’re going to change that, but such a cultural shift will take a a whole lot of people who care.

There is something everyone can contribute to this effort, whether you’re a farmer or not. The Shire Ambassador Program is a “village” of those people who care the most about building the future we want to live in - one where our food nourishes our bodies and is grown in concert with the earth.

The world Shire is reaching for is only possible if we find and promote great farms, restaurants, and food stores. Our Ambassadors are the ones on the ground, bringing this goal into reality. They scout out all the best spots, meet their local food producers, and spread the word about Shire.

How it works

Apply

The application process is simple. We’ll ask you a few questions about yourself and how you like to be involved. There is a task to complete, but don’t worry, you’ll have some options to chose from and they’re all fun!
Get connected

Once you’re in, we’ll add you to our Ambassador group chat and give you access to the Shire team. From there, you’ll be able to join the monthly webinar, Ambassador meetups, trips to farmers markets, and more — it’s a social thing!
Start “Ambassadoring”

Once you know the lay of the land, you’ll be able to get started. As of right now, you can add your favorite spots to the map, make content, and spread the word to friends and farmers. More to come!
